Shopify

Install the app and switch on the theme app embed.

Install on Shopify

  1. Install owni.chat from the Shopify App Store.
  2. Open the app and paste your API key from the owni.chat dashboard (Settings → API keys). The app detects your project and registers both your myshopify.com host and your custom domain as allowed origins.
  3. Copy the project key shown in the app.
  4. Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds, switch on owni.chat, paste the project key, and save.
  5. Back in the app, click Sync entire catalog so the assistant can recommend your real products with live prices and stock.

No theme code is edited, and the widget survives theme updates.

Manual alternative

Online Store → Themes → … → Edit code, open layout/theme.liquid, and paste this before </body>:

<script async src="https://app.owni.chat/widget/embed.js" data-project-key="YOUR_PROJECT_KEY"></script>

This works, but the snippet is lost when you switch themes, and it does not sync your catalog.
