Is Always Free really free forever?
Yes. Always Free stays free with no time limit. It includes live chat for one website, one flow scenario with basic triggers, a light AI allowance (see the plan card for the current monthly AI message limit), and owni.chat branding in the widget.
Can I try a paid plan before paying full price?
Yes. Start, Business, and Pro all include a first month for $1. After that, billing continues at the regular monthly or yearly price for that plan — cancel anytime from your billing page before it renews.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade from your workspace billing page at any time. When you move to Always Free, paid features are limited according to that plan.
What happens when I use up my AI messages for the month?
AI replies stop for the rest of the billing period until you upgrade or the allowance resets. Visitors can still use live chat and reach a human operator if your team is available. There is no automatic overage charge unless you change plan.
Pro has many (or unlimited) conversations but a fixed AI message limit. How does that work?
Conversations are chat threads with visitors. AI messages are assistant replies that count toward your AI quota. On Pro you can open many conversations, but only the AI message allowance on your plan is AI-answered each period — further traffic can continue as live chat.
What is included in Enterprise?
Enterprise is custom pricing for large teams: everything from Business and Pro, plus custom AI model and training, SAML SSO, 24/7 support, 99.9% SLA, and dedicated infrastructure. Use Contact us on this page to get a quote.
Do you offer yearly billing?
Yes. Above the plan cards, switch Billing period from Monthly to Yearly (−20%). Cards then show the monthly equivalent and the annual total you’re billed once per year. Checkout is available after you create an account at app.owni.chat.
Does the widget work on any website?
Yes. Install with one async script tag on WordPress, Shopify, React, or plain HTML. The widget loads after your page renders and does not block Core Web Vitals.
