Recommended — the owni.chat plugin

1. In WordPress admin go to Plugins → Add New and search for owni.chat.
2. Install and activate it.
3. Open owni.chat in the admin menu and paste your API key from the owni.chat dashboard (Settings → API keys).
4. Save. The plugin detects your project, registers this site as an allowed domain, and the widget appears on your site.

That is the whole setup. The plugin also lets you hide the widget on chosen pages or from logged-in users, and adds an owni.chat block (and [owni_chat] shortcode) for an inline chat panel inside a page.

Manual alternative

If you prefer not to install a plugin, paste the embed code before </body>:

Use a snippet plugin such as WPCode, or add it to your theme's footer.php. Block themes: Appearance → Editor → Template parts → Footer, then a Custom HTML block.

Then run Check installation in the dashboard.
